ABRSM theory exams

I am able to teach for ABRSM theory exams. Music theory is easier to understand if it has been consistently studied from the beginning, rather than the unfortunate last minute panic to pass a grade 5 exam! 

GCSE and A level

I am able to provide support for both of these. Many people ask for help particularly with their compositions. It should be pointed out that any help given must comply with exam board regulations and that the child’s school teacher must be able to honestly sign a form saying that the composition is theirs alone. However, it is possible to help explain techniques, devices etc that might be of use in a particular composition and provide a critique of how a piece could be improved.

Music Technology/Software

I can help students learn Sibelius, Logic Pro and Garageband. This may be just to help get around it to enable composition, or it may be a desire to get further into music production.
